Craft Space

So, half-term is nearly over and i've spent much of it demolishing and building desks, sorting out my fabric stash and recycling magazines I thought I needed but can actually live without!

My craft space is getting there ...

The computer desk has been replaced with a little table, just right for my sewing machine. My stash of fabrics and yarns are in clear plastic stacking boxes so I can ACTUALLY see what i've got! I've painted an old CD storage unit cream to hold my sewing things (you can just see it next to the black canvas bag) ...

My shelf no longer contains manuals for computer software and old boxes. I've put my favourite books on there, together with my seagull, campervan and Diddybears!
... but there's still work to do!
The keyboard and stand in the corner need a new space to live, and my chair needs some TLC! I think I need some bunting on the wall behind my sewing machine too, but i'm happy that I got the main bits of this project sorted before my return to work on Monday.
