Enamelling

Lots of enamelling this morning - working on some brooch ideas for Christmas - first time i've done any enamelling since July. As a result not everything was perfect! Pale blue (duck egg - love it!), deep red and white. I've tried all the other powders but they're not the same. Also love to use the translucent powders over white as a dusting - like icing sugar on cupcakes. Forgot to take the photo's. Now back to the ideas in my sketchbook.

Autumn Design Stash

The materials I buy in the summer are very different to those I buy in the autumn - I spent the summer buying watercolour paints and pastel coloured oil cloth for sewing. Now its raining, I am wrapped in a blanket as I write. I stocked up on orange and red embroidery threads last weekend (at the NEC) and desperately need a 'Rowan Fix' at my local department store! I want to create things whilst sitting on my sofa in the living room rather than sat at my dining room table ... ... I don't know what to do with all the orange and red yet!
